The soil, covering about 20,000 'tsubo' in size, is surrounded by the coastline overlooking Beppu Bay and a beautiful forest.
Various herbs and perennials are grown, including old roses,
English roses, climbing roses - 1,000 varieties in total, with approximately 600 in full bloom,
immersing visitors in an atmosphere of calm elegance.
The garden aims to express the richness of botanical life in harmony with nature.
Featuring explanations,
visitors can see and learn for themselves how the plants are grown.
You can also purchase seedlings of plants you want to grow at home for yourself, as well as receive instructions on how to grow them.
There is also a dog run within the park,
and visitors are welcome to bring their best friends with them!
